The proposal is associated with a retail development on the site which the CNPA granted planning permission for. Elements of the proposed signage may potentially conflict with matters relating to the original permission, which are unresolved at present. In the event of planning permission being granted, it is recommended that a condition should be applied to ensure that the accommodation provided in the summer house remains ancillary to the main dwelling house. 24. 2012/0006/DET - Construct first floor to the existing building, extension to the rear and erection of storage shed/workshop At Ossian Cottage, The Brae, Kincraig, Kingussie PH21 1QD . Having regard to the first aim of the National Park which includes conserving and enhancing the natural heritage of the area, efforts should be made to ensure that the maximum number of trees to the rear of the site are protected and retained. 25. 2012/0012/DET - Erection of Dwellinghouse (Change of House Type) APP/2006/3959 At Spyon Cop, Strathdon AB36 8TN . Having regard to the first aim of the National Park to conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area, and taking into account the prominence of the site, its proximity to Glenbuchat Castle, as well as its location close to the entrance to the National Park on one of the main access roads, it is imperative that development on the site is of the highest possible design standards.
